Crowdfunding goes wild
Hyper’s ultra-loyal following helped them earn the crown of “most crowdfunded MacBook accessory” for their USB-C hub Kickstarter campaign.
With a range of mobile accessories aimed at helping people solve real-world problems—dongles, hubs, portable battery packs—the next step was giving customers an online shopping experience as loved as the brand’s products.
For the redesign, we created a new interface that better represents Hyper’s brand and products. It’s clean, functional, and gives Hyper’s ecommerce team more options for merchandising.
With site analytics helping inform design, we focused on improving the mobile experience and encouraging quick conversions, as well as creating a robust, flexible design to allow for scalability and the release of new products.
Customizations at scale
Hyper was already off to a great start by using Shopify Plus, the enterprise version of the world’s most popular and scalable ecommerce platform.
We incorporated Shogun, a popular Shopify app, to create flexible product pages that can be tailored for individual products. Interactions were designed for fast conversions and included a fixed add-to-cart bar, quick-view modal, and product cards that unveil more information on hover.
We also built powerful filtering that enables customers to find the correct accessory based on their needs, without having any prior knowledge of product functionality.
Building confidence and trust
In the end, we created an elegant digital experience that requires no technical knowledge from Hyper’s customers. The simple user flows and elevated branding give customers the confidence and trust required to help Hyper continue their rapid growth.
